Say Yes to Languages sampler module 2026/27

Say Yes to Languages is a programme facilitated by PPLI/Languages Connect and is fully funded by the Department of Education and Youth, supporting schools in advance of the enactment of the Language specification of the Primary Language Curriculum.


For the academic year 2026/27, the Say Yes to Languages module will be delivered over a period of 10 weeks. To maximise its reach and allow a larger number of schools to take part, the Say Yes to Languages module will be offered to pupils in 5th and 6th class only.

PPLI will notify your school regarding participation in Term 1 or Term 2 of the school year. Please refer to CIRCULAR 0035/2026 for further information.

Interested schools should complete the application form below. The deadline for receipt of applications is 5pm on Friday, 1st of May, 2026. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. For more information on Say Yes to Languages, please visit our website.
 
Before submitting your application, please ensure that all the information provided is accurate and complete. A copy of your application will be forwarded to your email for your records. We can only accept one submission per school.
